Go small or go home
Trying out a new format. Sharing Q&A from the VV Instagram:
How do I set goals that motivate me but aren’t too big that they’re intimidating?
In my experience — the brain is always subconsciously looking for proof before it’ll gear up to help you chase whatever it is you’re after.
In the case described above, the larger your “goals”, the less proof you have that you could get anywhere near executing them, and the more intimidated you feel.
If you have big long-term goals, make your short-term goals smaller.
If you can’t make small things happen, thinking big is a waste of time and energy.
